“The load has been finally off my mind.” Recently, 57-year-old Ms. Qiang has undergone successfully a hepatic hemangioma surgery at Wuxi Kaiyi Hospital. Hepatic hemangiomas

Hepatic hemangiomas are the most common benign hepatic neoplasm, among which the cavernous hemangioma of liver is the most frequent. This disease is common among middle-aged women. The cause of this disease is still unknown, but many hold the view that it is related to congenital dysplasia. Hepatic hemangioma is mostly unilateral existence which incidence rate is roughly the same in the left liver and in the right liver.

Tumors grow slowly and have course of disease which can last for years or more. When the tumor body is small, it does not present any clinical symptom. But a few tumors increase gradually in size and compress the organs surrounding them triggering clinical symptoms, so surgical excision is the most effective way for the cure of this disease.
